Cascade Fire Equipment Company |
Cascade Fire Equipment (CFE) is a fast-growing company. Their building, which they were leasing from Southern Oregon Builders (SOB), could no longer contain them. They needed a lot more space—and they needed it fast.
SOB retrofitted the CFE building from 850 to 3500 sq. ft. in just three weeks and, at the same time, customized the building so it would suit seven diverse work settings including welding, shipping, sewing and office work. Now that’s service!
About Cascade Fire Equipment
Founded by Dan Lloyd and his sons in 1985, Cascade Fire Equipment is proud to say that their firefighting gear is used by tens of thousands of firefighters. Cascade’s 6,500+ accounts include Fire Departments nationwide, the U.S. Forest Service, the Air Force and Marines.
Cascade manufactures about 60 products on-site, which makes them unique in the industry. One of CFE’s big sellers is Strike-Team™ Fire Gear, which features pants and jackets made of Nomex. Southern Oregon Builders provides a solution
Cascade Fire is now leasing its fourth SOB building. “They’re good landlords,” says Don Lloyd, Vice President. “When we needed a forklift, Southern Oregon Builders just brought one over and let us use it. They also landscaped all the buildings in our old neighborhood (rather than just their own buildings).”
As far as Don is concerned, “they’re the best landlords in the business.”
